Legal Bits Episode #109 – Crafty Business
People say if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. This is a driving force for most entrepreneurs. While the hours may be long and the tasks may be difficult, it seems easier to invest in your own business than to invest in someone else’s wallet.
With the time and passion behind a project, an entrepreneur can turn almost any idea into a business. For Beth Riegger, meeting her “soul sisters” who encouraged her dream of starting a crafting business pushed her toward starting her sixth business, Soul Sisters Boutique. Beth loves to sew, quilt, and knit, and she also loves website design. Using her skills for both, Beth put together a new business. By working with the website and the projects she does for her business, Beth is able to feed two of her interests and help her dream grow even bigger.
We talk about Beth’s experience in small businesses, and look at what makes Soul Sisters special. We explore some of her tricks in business, and talk about why she likes designing websites. Beth tells about her trip to Israel, and gives some insight into her favorite food tradition.
